On Saturday January 23 at 3pm ET, the 2021 Folk DJ Emerging Artist Showcase will premiere with a video stream on the Folk Music Notebook YouTube page (here is a direct link to the video YouTube) and there will also be a separate audio stream at FolkMusicNotebook.com, the host for this independent showcase.
The 2021 Folk DJ Emerging Artist Showcase is a free showcase crated by a group of folk music DJs from across the Northeastern United States and Canada. The DJs, who host shows on their local radio stations have selected emerging artists from the folk community to present to viewers and listeners in this special 3 hour showcase.

Inspired by the Folk DJ Showcase that was started in 2003 at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) by Rich Warren and the late Suzi Wollenberg, this virtual showcase will carry on the tradition that was interrupted with the cancellation of the November event due to the Covid19 pandemic. This virtual showcase will feature the work of outstanding artists and also the radio hosts who present their shows to appreciative audiences across the nation.
